Mrs. Vicki Lea Brooks (Cantavespre), of Pleasant Grove, Al, passed away on Saturday March 30, 2019 at the age of 58.

Vicki was born to parents Anthony Cantavespre II & Martha Ritter Bice on July 10, 1960 in Birmingham, Al. She grew up as the middle child of 3 and attended Fairfield High School.

Vicki is survived by her daughter, Rachael Godsey Spencer; Rebecca Godsey; and son Jordan Lee Brooks; her stepfather Charles Bice; sister Lisa Knight; brother Anthony Cantavespre III; 4 grandchildren Katie, Will, Harper and Addy; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery Lee Brooks; her parents, Anthony Cantavespre II, & Martha Ann Bice.

A visitation will be available to the public at Bethel Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove, Al on April 4, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Rachael - I knew your mom back in high school - she, Lisa and I were good friends back then. I've often wondered over the years where she was and how she was doing. I recently reconnected with Lisa and found out from her that Vicki passed away. I'm very sad to hear this news and so very sorry for your loss. She was a sweet person and I will remember her forever. I'm praying for her family in this loss.
