I still really miss Vicki. We only used to write to one another once in awhile but she was my contact with the Schenk/Kenney side of the family since Grandma Schenk died. I still miss Grandma & Aunt Charlotte, what a pair! And Joanie & Harvey, too! They were such gracious hosts to me when I was in Dayton for Uncle Maurie's wedding.
Anyway, Vicki kept me in mind over the years & rekindled memories of my Mom from back in the day. Since Vicki was 9 yrs older than me she had sharper recollections of stuff from my little kid days. Like Mom's "flower hat" for Easter! She even sent me slides of Mom wearing it. Remember slides & projectors!? Oh well, I'm 64.
Also, she sent me a letter she had that my Dad sent Joanie & Harvey from 1969 about Mom being pregnant with my sister Megan! Great stuff. ! Vicki was a treasure & a font of cool family info! What a sweetie! But she's with the Lord now, in the arms of Jesus, Mary, & Joseph. God bless Vicki!

Vicki was a breath of fresh air ! So easy going & just hilarious! A great source of family history tidbits. A most gentle and generous soul. I'll miss her. May the good Lord bless her & take her to Himself. Peace, Vicki
