So very sorry to hear of Vickie's passing. She was my college roommate and a great friend as well. We had somewhat lost touch through the years, but it is great to read the tributes posted by her former students. I am sure she was a wonderful teacher and will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

I wish I could be there this evening and tomorrow to give Mr. Looser and Andrew a hug. I am so heartbroken for you all. Mrs. Looser was my history/ geography teacher and cheerleader sponsor. (Class of 1995) As one of my fellow classmates said perfectly..."She was a hard hand when needed. But, always a soft and safe place to land." I remember her always rooting for the student who seemed to struggle. She was at every LHS event I can remember. (Except the one year where Mr. Looser had to go to cheerleader camp with us in her place. Great memories from that trip. Haha!! Love you Mr. Looser. You were such a good sport)
I love your family and will be just as faithful in my prayers as Mrs. Looser was to all who knew her.

Mrs. Looser, words can not even begin to describe the pain I feel right now. You were everything that one could ask for in a teacher. Not only were you a teacher, but a loving wife, friend, mentor, comedian and to many of your students you became a second mother. I thank God for lending us an angel, and I know that everyone else feels the same. I know that you are making God laugh and keeping him smiling. I miss you so much already and will never forget all of the wonderful and meaningful things that you taught us, I will carry them with me throughout life and when your name comes to mind I will remember how blessed I am to have known such a special person. I pray that God lays His hands upon your family and friends and give us all strength.

I always loved Mrs. Looser, I recall going to the store, having her as a teacher at Springwood, and again at SUSCC, on my way to a degree, and she always had a smile on her face and an open heart. My family and I send our deepest sympathies to her family and friends and all those whose lives she touched along the way. I count myself as one of the lives she touched and will cherish her memory always. God bless you and may God's grace and comfort be with you always.
