Victor Ezenwoko was born into the Ezenwoko royal family on 23rd July 1961. He was the second child but the first son of his parents, late John Ezenwoko  and Mrs Priscilla Ezenwoko. He attended the prestigious Government College Umuahia and then the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi where he graduated at the top of his class. Immediately after his national youth service at Nbiokporo High School, Akwa Ibom State, he worked briefly with Sanders Feeds Limited, Aba before joining Commercial and Scientific Computing Nigeria Limited where he also worked briefly before joining the then Ecobank Limited. He pioneered the opening of a number of branches and rose to the position of Branch Manager before joining Diamond Bank Plc.

Since he joined Diamond Bank Plc, Victor has worked across virtually every part of the country and his performance over the years underscores the aptness of his elevation to the Board. Victor is a 1986 Accountancy Graduate and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991.
He is an Alumnus of the prestigious Wharton Business School and an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He has attended several business, professional and manpower development courses both within and outside Nigeria. He has altogether over 24 years working experience as an accountant and a banker from manufacturing, information technology and banking sectors with over 18 of those years in the banking sector. His banking career started at Ecobank Nigeria Plc in 1992 where he worked in the Financial Controls Department and later moved into a branch management position.
He joined Diamond Bank in July 1997 as a start up Branch Manager for Onitsha Bridgehead Branch and subsequently Branch Manager for Onitsha New Market Road Branch (1998-1999) and for Abuja Branch (1999-2000). Having made his mark in Branch Management, Victor was promoted to Regional Manager East (2000-2002). Between 2002 and 2003, he functioned as Group Head, Large Commercial Businesses (Head Office) and Group Head, Commercial Banking Lagos Island.
