Victino! I’ll always remember your ever so lively presence, with humility and always ready to go the extra mile to help. A very reliable gentleman, always with a lot of energy. Still a shock, but I know you’re surely in a better place. Rest on soldier!

I saw Victor a few months ago, and we spent quite a while catching up as we hadn’t seen each other in years before then. Little did I know that this would be the last time we met.

I will always remember your positive attitude and smiling demeanour. Rest in peace my brother.

It is impossible not to recognise Victor’s humility and humanity in his everyday life. While it makes me so sad to hear about your passing, I also take comfort in the fact that God has only taken you to a better place. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest on dear friend...

Just heard this terrible news. I got to spend a few months working with Victor.
Just a few minutes discussion with him and his happy positive attitude to life always made the day feel better. He had a habit of calling me sir... well Victor you should be the Sir as far as im concrerned. Deepest condolences to his family and friends for the loss of this true Gentleman who will be missed by anyone that had the pleasure of meeting him. RIP Victor my friend.

Victino,
Words fail me in moments like this as treasured memories of days past keep flashing through my mind.
From Abalti Barracks through Unilag, you have proven to be a great friend turned brother.
So much water has passed under the bridge that one would think the journey would be much farther than this but the Almighty GOD knows best.
Didn't realise the zoom celebration with Mr Adeyemi was the parting gift of you to us.
I pray Ile and the children find comfort in the great Comforter.
Do rest in peace brother....

Vigay, solid man A friend but more like a brother. We had lots of fun. Your boarderless friendship transcends the entire engineering faculty.

When I heard of your departure and the way it happened I was dumbfounded. Words fail me but I am consoled by the fact that you are in a far better place. Our God who knows all has decided that it is time for you to come home.

I pray that God in his infinite grace and mercy grant your loved ones especially your wife and kids the fortitude to bear this gargantuan loss. You will be greatly missed brother. Rest on till we meet again.

For some moments in life there are no words. I have lost a dear friend. Your life was a blessing. You are irreplaceable. Your kind words still echoe in my ears, just as we spoke on Christmas day. Your memory will forever remain a treasure. Sleep well my good friend.

"Words are not enough to describe how gutted I am losing such a reliable, ever present friend and someone who has your back through thin and thick like you Victor. I will like to pay my tribute by remembering our good old days - they see me rolling, that will forever bring a smile to my face. I am pretty sure you are resting in the good place of the Lord, because you have touched so many lives and your legacy will remain in our heart. Larry, Merryn and the Melbourne crew."

Victor,

I always remember with a smile the ‘good old days’ of Unilag.... Your great sense of humour (irrespective of the circumstances)... the camaraderie.... the care and concern you always showed for others... and the friendship and bond you kept with us ...friends and classmates many years after... across oceans and continents.

May your soul rest in perfect peace and May God grant your wife and children the comfort, strength and grace they need
