This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Victor Howell, 88 years old, born on February 17, 1927, and passed away on July 18, 2015. We will remember him forever.
I worked with Victor at Mare Island Naval Shipyard. He will always be a very talented, kind, hard working co-worker to me. I am sorry for your loss and the world's loss of such a great human presence. My prayers are with you and your family, Victor.
We are heartbroken to hear that our Grandpa has passed. We send our love and prayers to the rest of his family. We are in St. Louis on vacation with our six children and are unable to attend.
What a beautiful tribute. I'm crying and I never even had the chance to meet this remarkable man. I am s o very sorry for your loss. He was lucky to have you as his daughter. Sending you much love.

We feel blessed and lucky to have been able to spend time together on July 6. Uncle Vic was a sweet and wonderful man. He loved his family, including his sister Florence - my dear mother, very much. He'll be missed by us all.

On July 24, 1969 I remember watching the moon landing at Uncle Vic's and Aunt Jane's. That's 46 years ago. This is a profound memory. I'm sure it was accompanied by ice cream. I do remember ice cream making at their home, too.
