Happy Birthday Mi Amore!!

Oh the memories we had, getting all dolled up, having a Kmart shopping morning (more so me watching you shop or rather getting lost in the rounders), dancing while we cook (the only time you let me blare the music) and closing the night with the rosary.

I'll be joining you tonight as together we pray for healing over my body. The news today really spun me but I will leave it to God. I'm not going to lie grandma, I'm super scared but I can hear you telling me to be strong while you stroke my hair as I lay in your lap. Its really lonely without you or a mom figure to coddle me but the memories we share most defiantly fill my heart.

Wishing you an amazing day - I know you have to be looking down in awe of your growing family. All your great grandkids, and wow, you are a Great Great Grandma!! I know you would adore Zacari's curls. Each of the littles are so amazing. Your heart must be so full as you watch over them from above, our own personal angel.

I love you Grandma - I hope your day is beautiful!

My beloved mother, I miss you very much but I actually feel you closer than ever since your great-granddaughters have been born; I feel you watching over them and us.

I know you are proud of each and everyone of us and yes, your baby; my brother Frankie is doing good. :)

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Forever and always, it is your love and memories that ground my soul. It is your light that shines deep within and is felt throughout those you left behind. Through that of my Tia Rosa, your grandchildren & their significant others, great grandchildren and now great great grandchildren. Your beautiful family continues to grow and along with it, your value of family, strength and love.

They say there is reason for everything. They say time will heal. Neither time or reason will ever change the way I feel. Gone are the days we used to share, where I lay my head on your lap as you stroke the top of my curls, rambling about nothing and everything. That along with so many other memories will forever remain in my heart, kept safe knowing you you are always here with me.

I miss you more than anybody knows.

Te amo con todo mi alma.

Hi Grandma...I'm still missing you like crazy. I know its been 3 yrs but I still long for our moments when I'd leave work early, go to your house and lay in your lap as you pray the rosary. Times are tough right now with Kiana's being sick. I need a mother's guidance and love, one which I will never get from Vicky but I hold true to the strength you instilled in me to get by. I love you!!

Tia Vicky & her "CANDY"

June 7, 2010

My Tia Vicky, LOL! Loved CANDY! she LOVED her CANDY and SWEETS so much, she would  hide her SWEETS  from her own Husband, our Uncle Christobal (may he rest in peace) The funniest thing is, she was never  good at hiding her SWEETS in a safe place! When us kids would visit my Uncle Chris & Aunt Vickies house, we would always find it, and our Uncle Christobal (her husband) would pass it all around. That was so funny to us kids. But don't worry anybody, she always had plenty of Candy, or Twinkies somewhere to be found in the house. I bet their still maybe some Candy, Pan Dulce or Twinkies somewhere hidden to this day just  waiting to be found!!! hahahaha! Those were the good old days. I'm going to Miss you Tia. Love you, May You Rest in Peace, Your Niece Graciela.
