5 years ago was a sad day for people who loved and knew you. I pray that you are singing to the Lord and painting our heavenly skies.

Missing our dear Vickie - it has been a hard year for her husband Bob and for those of us in the choir. We are comforted by imaging her singing in the heavenly choir with my husband and Frank Handy and all all the other beautiful voices of those who have gone ahead.

Today your church, husband, children and friends said a final farewell in a grand gesture of love for the wonderful lady you were to each of us. I know you knew you were loved on this earth and your expression of faith and love was wide spread. Today it was expressed. Will see you again, someday.

Vicki’s gracious love of life and each of us that were blessed to know her, will always be remembered. I’ll miss her presence, laughter and cookies she often passed over the fence for our enjoyment. She was such a blessing to so many!  Bob, Jeff, Darlene and Diane, know we share in your loss and you are in our thoughts and prayers.   Jack and Ellen

My sweet neighbor has gone to be with the angels. Sing loud Vicki so we can hear your joyous voice as you light up the heavens. It was a joy to have known you. Until we meet again my friend. Rest in peace.

So saddened to hear of sweet Vicki's passing. Prayers for Bob and all of the family. We had the pleasure of seeing them each Sunday, and they both always greeted us with a smile and handshake. As others said, she had a special way of making you feel like you knew her forever even if you just met. God's blessings on all of the family.

Vicki was such a gentle kind person. I never heard her say anything but kind things about other people. She had such a beautiful voice and it was so much fun to be with her in the Trinity choir. She will be missed but it is a comfort to picture her singing in the Heavenly choir.

Vickie was such a precious member of our parish. We will remember her with a smile. Vickie and I shared an experience with our drivers licences that made us laugh at the world. God Bless you Vickie.

Obituary

Victoria K. Berglund, 88, died February 14, 2019 in The Woodlands, Texas

A memorial service will be held March 23 at Trinity Episcopal Church in The Woodlands. She was born July 10, 1930, in Canonsburg, PA to Jack and Zelinda Falconi. Her father immigrated to the United States from Perugia, Italy in 1920 and met her mother Zelinda Binotto in Lawrence, Pennsylvania.

Victoria (Vicki) was a graduate of Canon McMillan High School and Duffs Iron City College in Pittsburgh, PA. She was wife to James Robert Kerr Jr. (deceased) and mother of Jeffrey Robert Kerr and Dianne Lynne Kerr. Vicki met her second husband Robert H. Berglund in 1976 and they married in 1977.

Vicki was a receptionist at Ryan Homes in Pittsburgh, PA for 10 years and worked at the Woodlands Country Club as a manager of the women’s health spa for 6 years. She volunteered for the ministry team at Memorial Hermann Hospital for 20 years and passed away on the third floor of the hospital where she had helped so many with her ministry. She was active in Daughters of the King and St. Anne’s and was the longest serving choir member (39 years) at Trinity Episcopal Church. Vicki’s interests included family, drawing pastel portraits, flower arranging, and of course singing. Vicki was best known for her vivacious personality, beautiful soprano voice, and wonderful laugh. Her death on Valentine’s Day is only fitting given her loving heart and concern for others.

Mrs. Berglund is survived by her husband, Robert H. Berglund of the Woodlands; brother, Jack Falconi Jr. (Donna) of Canonsburg, PA; son Jeff (Darlene) Kerr of Columbus, Ohio; daughter Dianne Kerr of Munroe Falls, Ohio and countless loving friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her first husband James (Jimmy) Kerr, sister in-law Dorothy Kerr, and her parents Jack and Zelinda Falconi.

Donations may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church Choir, 3901 West Panther Creek Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77380.

In memory of cousin Vicki, Jeff and Diane I am thankful for your mom's support through the years but especially during my job search in 1975. I got my first paid position as interpreter counselor at the Community College of Allegheny County because of her persistence calling the student service department daily until I had an interview and got the job. Barb and I offer our condolences to you and Bob. Vicki will be missed by friends and family.
