Vikki Moody

June 27, 2018

Hi - Someone else has said that Vikki and Tiffany sometimes looked more like sisters than mother and daughter. I loved seeing them at church; Vikki had cute little feathery hats that she would wear - she always managed to look elegant.  And her infectious smile - it was always upbeat to talk with her. She was always a charming lady!  I still miss her.

Much love, Beverly

we did many things together....museum, church service, dinner, etc. I always enjoyed listening to Vickie speak of her favorite subject, Tiffany!  lol    Vickie told such stories that ultimately would embarass Tiffany to no end. I always waited for the inevitable wail from Tiffany, "Mooooomm". It was hilarious.

I am still searching for the phone recording where they decided to serenade me for my birthday, off-key and you could hear the mischievous tone as they sang until the end when they were overcome with their own mirth and lost it, laughing. Priceless!

A wonderful visit from younger sister, Bonnie Upton, during Vikki's final days. They reminisced about childhood dance lessons, cheerleading at William Tennant High, old flames and life lessons. Thanks, Aunt Bonnie, for your willingness to help, and sharing your wisdom and advice when we most needed it.

Vicki was a kind and gentle soul who Kate and I will miss dearly.

Anyone who loved animals like she did speaks volumes

about their character and kindness, and their view of life.

Her husband Chip, had a bigger than life personality and

and it took a special kind of woman to be there when he

needed her…..which was often. She was a loving wife

and supporter of her husband, especially during his long

battle with illness.

She was quiet and reserved, yet spoke her mind when

need be. She had some enduring quirks which made

you love her even more.

Like any good mother, her first and foremost priority

was the health and well being of her children, Trae andTiffin.

Her absence in their lives will be felt for some time, but as time

passes their memories of Vicki will carry them through.

Kate and I feel so blessed to have had Vicki in our lives.

She has “slipped the surly bonds of earth, reached out and

touched the face of God” now. Until we meet again sweet

Vic.
