My Dear Obioma,

The shocking news of the exit of your Beoved wife – Vicky Uchenna, came as a very very rude shock to I, my wife and entire staff of our Audit Firm.

It was difficult to comprehend because ten hour earlier you called me to inform me that she was in labour and you were already on your way back to Kaduna to be with her and your Baby.

Uchenna was indeed a lovely, bright, intelligent, enthusiastic and very religious young Lady. In my few contacts with her I came out with a strong moral, Christian and professional impression of her. I have had course to test her academic proficiency in interviews, talk shows, discussions and most recently IFRS/IPSAS conversion course and she always excelled.

For me, She was a Daughter, a friend and a professional colleague per excellence.

To you, what she represented is easier imagined than written. You loved her beyond measure. From the day you introduced her as your future wife, your adoration and love for her was glaringly visible. I chaired your wedding in January 2014 and I knew God had blessed you with a very special woman.

As family, we share the pains of her transition with you. Though we grief and feel so much pain, we must take solace in the fact that because she lived a Christ-like Life we have no doubt that she is resting in the bosom of the Lord where there are no pains and grief.

My Dear Obioma, We enjoin you to be courageous and look up to God more than ever.

May Uchenna’s Gentle Soul continue to rest in the bosom of the LORD………

MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE ON THE DEATH OF YOUR WIFE

We were shocked when the news of your wife’s sudden death was conveyed to us. At first, we thought it was a rumour.  It’s a huge loss to both the family, AYA  and Alor Community.

We use this medium to convey our deepest condolence to you, your inlaws and the entire Edebatu family.

Your wife was a good woman. She was a woman that feared God.

For and on behalf of the entire Alor Youth Assembly (AYA), we say sorry for this great loss. We share your pains, and pray for the repose of her soul…

I knew VICTORIA around April 2012 but before then she was my course-mate (a year ahead of me) @ University of Nigeria ,Enugu Campus.
By God’s providence we met after our graduation. As a working class man, the only thing on my mind was MARRIAGE. Something miraculous happen, I do not know the qualities I need in a wife but I remembered that my dad & mum  always tells me to  read  “MY BIBLE” for life’s  solutions.

I opened to PROVERBS CHAPTER 31 :10 - END ,I heard a voice “THESE WILL BE A YARD-STICK  TO MEASURE”  that was when God HIMSELF  brought us TOGETHER.

To outsiders, she was my wife but to me she was my husband. She was a sister, best friend, my confidant, my planner, my secretary  and my wife.

She was my GLORY, MY STRENGTH and BEAUTY.

I have not seen any lady who WORSHIP HER HUSBAND AS SHE DOES, she worship the ground I walked on, even due she was a CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT.

AFTER our wedding last January, she applied for change of Name and handed ALL HER CERTIFIATE TO ME SAYING “DADDY M,OBI-M NOW AM YOUR WIFE ALL THESE THESE CERTIFIATE ARE NOW YOURS  AND I MUST TAKE PERMISSION FROM YOU BEFORE USING THEM “any time people called her “MRS EDEBEATU”she will be so happy. What a virtuous Lady.
 She took me closer to God; she made me a PARYER WARRIOR.
Anytime we had misunderstanding, she will  say “obim,you are my lord,my beauty and my hubby why cnt I say AM SORRY”she must make sure we went to bed without any misunderstanding.

Her LOVE for GOD was OUTSTANDING, she belong to various Christian organization simply for  “ENVANGLISM”she came back from work one day and she was so happy I asked her mummy,why are you happy?she replied,I met a Muslim and I shared the WORD OF GOD with him.

On 24th,Dec I met the nurse  she was with before her death. I asked her what was her last word?she said that my wife mentioned  “BLOOD OF JESUS  -2 TIMES,IN JESUS NAME-2 TIMES.

Eleven months of blissful relationship has end on a sad note but I thank God on what the PSALMSIST said in chapter 116 vs 15 “precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of HIS saints”

What will happen to our plans?

How can I cope without you by my side?

You always promised that you will be here for me,
who will take ZULUM TO SCHOOL?

Who will drive the car I promise to buy for you?

Who will cook for me?

Who will dress me for work?

Who will tell me the TRUTH AS YOU DO?

SO,YOU CANNOT ANSWER ME?
MUMMY M ,YOU HAVE LEFT ME IN THE DARK?

I MUST MISS YOU BUT GOD KNOWS WHY, ENJOY YOURSELF IN HEAVEN!
