Mama Jones was an amazing, sweet woman who welcomed you with open arms and open heart. The minute you met her you were treated like you were part of her family. She was generous and genuine. Her love and pride for her girls was heart warming and you couldn’t help but bask in her joy when she spoke about them. She will live on forever in our hearts and good deeds, every time I write or open a card she will be there, every time I look at her girls I see her and every time I see a beautiful day I will think of her. Her strength, her kindness and her dedication to her family- if we all aspire to live like Mama Jones…this world would be a better place. We love you so much.

Her Life
November 3, 2022

Victoria (“Vicki”) Ann Jones (nee Wulfeck), age 65, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully,  surrounded by loved ones on November 1, 2022 after courageously surviving a serious illness for nearly 5 years.

Vicki was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 3, 1957 to Ronald and Carol Wulfeck (nee Knapp).  She spent much of her childhood and teen years growing up in Milford, Ohio and always considered that home.

Vicki is survived by her husband of 42 years, Rodney Jones, and their daughters Sonnia (Michael) Richards and Megan (Robert) Craig and her beloved cat, Maggie.  Vicki also leaves behind siblings Dan (Becky) Wulfeck, whom she shared a very special bond with, as well as Andy (Gina) Wulfeck and Terri (Joel) Cone in addition to several nieces and nephews.

Vicki spent much of her career in the medical billing field where she made many lifelong friends along the way.  She never met a stranger and had a way of making the world a better place just by being in it. She had a smile that filled every room she walked into.

Vicki was a woman of faith and the rock of her family.  She especially loved Saturdays with her “girls,” sending greeting cards, Hallmark movies, bodies of water, sunflowers and bird-watching.  Vicki also had a soft spot for her grandcats, listening to music, iced green tea from Starbucks, taking photos, her “dinner dolls” group and buying gifts for others.  Vicki’s kindness and generosity touched the lives of many.

Details surrounding a celebration of life will be shared with close family and friends in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Vicki and a life so well lived.
