Dear Roger,
We are sorry to hear about Vilma's passing. Our memories of Vilma, you, and your children are among our best of our Wolcott High School experiences. Your gracious hosting of the 'basketball followers' and our shared CHS Yearbook dedication are just two examples. You folks are in our prayers...Dick and Judy Barone

Great Memories

October 7, 2012

Dear Connor family,

Mom (Carol) saw the notice about Vilma and asked that I send you our condolences from the entire Boulanger family.  We all have such great memories of Vilma -- whether she was making her famous pizza, teaching us health in school, or bidding seven no trump in a crazy game of bridge!!  Vilma and the entire Connor family are part of our memories forever.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.  She was much loved and admired by everyone who knew her, especially our family who had the great fortune to know her well.

With love and fondness,

Michelle (Boulanger) Pujadas and the entire Boulanger family

Dad's letter to Mom

September 29, 2012

My Dearest Vilma,

I am writing this to you in the hope that I can express the fantastic woman you were to me.

Your love for family came first for you. It made no matter which child it was, or the age they were at, you provided them with anything any mother could and would love to be able to do. You took a very mixed family and put it together with such love and care that every member felt your love and knew they came first in everything. Your love for your family was obvious to all.

Your love for me was astounding. You allowed me to do anything and everything possible, and even let me work well beyond the ordinary number of years to accomplish my goals.

At the same time you took your love of art and kept it alive.  Your paintings were expressive of the love within you. Those who have them can tell. There are not many people who can make themselves happy and make their loved ones feel the same.

We shared everything and gave to our marriage loving and caring that was unique.  You were the perfect partner to an imperfect husband, and I love you for that and so much more.

There is no way I can ever forget your love and kindness.

Vilma, I miss you and will love you until the end of my days.

Your loving husband,

Roger
