Hey Mom it's been 4 years and I don't think any of your kids miss you any less then we did the first day you left us. We know you're rejoicing it in heaven right now you're not in pain and you're happy, but it will be a glorious day when we get to be with you again. Mama give us all a kiss if you can, many of us need your comfort.

Such a beautiful soul! Its a wonder God didn't send for her earlier but still He took her too soon for those of us left here. I Miss My Mom ALL THE TIME, as I Know my sisters and brother do. If I could give you a big hug and kiss right now, I would be in Heaven. I love you mom.

Meeting Daddy

Shared by Shirley Shepherd on May 9, 2016

I loved how she told me this story of how they met, meeting in the family Restaurant she worked at Daddy was Traveling home from ft.Jackson to Ohio and he stopped into eat and his car broke down lol he borrowed a hammer off my Granddad and started beating on a part in the car and it started but before he left the cafe he got my mom's number and soon after that he called they went out one time and found out he was being deployed and asked her to marry him... I just love that story every time she told me.
