Viola Aunty faced all adversaries with a broad smile only. As a teacher she produced Maths Centums from improbable background. Being a Maths graduate, I had seen her teaching the under privileged like her own children. Her Mathematics guided her to take appropriate solutions to the difficulties in life with great blessings from Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Rest in Peace Aunty in the safe hands of Our Jewish Master who holds the eternal life.

At the Outset, Viola Aunty is not forevermissed, she has been foreverglorified. She had been a Wonderful Daughter to her Parents, Caring Wife to Jacob Uncle, Loving Mother to Felicia and Danny, Affectionate Aunty to us all including Pearson, a comforting Grand Mother to Florina, Pearlina, Sam and Angelin, An Excellent Teacher to scores of students and a Missionary in every respect to Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I repeat she is never missed, she is a heavenly light to all of us. I used to think about Viola Aunty as a Cricketer too because Century in Cricket is a magic number, I am sure she would have scored more centuries of centuries through her teaching, only difference here is Century is called Centum in Mathematics. A Lovely Lady at the Heavenly Abode. We Pray that the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ enable us to lead our life as Viola Aunty had shown the way to us. Amen

Dear Sister Viola has left a great vacuum in our life, despute our not being there in Chennai. During lock down days , she took initiative to pray over phone with my wife Jeevalatha almost on daily basis. She used to smile for every conversation ,citing an example to live happily irrespective of situations around. Always carried a burden to help the underprivileged slum children and helped poor children in studies under Susanna study centre , started by Annanagar Methodist Church on daily basis despite her eye problems during post cataract surgery period. She never boasted herself. In fact we came to know after her demise about her being the recipient of gold medal in her university studies for her excellencein Mathematics. Always took a lead in village outreach visits to help the underprivileged. I keep last days of her whatsup messages to both of us. It was 12th April 2021, she sent a message to us about getting hospitalized and to offer prayers for her. Never we realized that she would soon be taken away from us. Her love and care for her husband, children and grandchildren cannot be measured in any scale. Her life of Spirtiual fragrance left legacy of love, compassion and special care for the underprivileged in line with foot steps of Jesus. We are sure she will be rejoicing with our Almighty along with company of angels around.

Remembering dear Viola akka today. It's one year since she went to be with the Lord. She was such a vibrant person. She always greeted me with a broad smile. She would send me bible verses regularly and pray with me sometimes.
She was very dedicated in her work. She loved her students and would always ask me to pray for them. She was very loving and caring. A month before she passed away, she came home to wish me on my birthday and I was very touched by her gesture. I'm so blessed to have known her.
Will always remember you my dear Akka

I met Mam in a few Kenosis Christmas get-togethers. There is an aura of piety and compassion surrounding her. The way she fostered her family with the principles and value system is truly inspiring. As a Great Teacher, she nurtured numerous students towards academic excellence. She led a fulfilled life with her noble deeds and left a great legacy.

Her life journey from an aspiring child to a great mother was exemplary and a standing testimony for principle-centric living.

I was planning to take her blessings during my next visit to Chennai but got to know her sad demise suddenly.

Though physically Mam is not present now, she will be remembered forever through the commendable heritage she modeled.

I pray almighty to rest her soul in peace in heavenly abode.

Would always remember dear Viola aunty as a an affectionate and loving person. She was considered as a dear sister to my beloved parents. After my parents passed away, she continued to stay in touch with me and my brother and sister. She would send messages and also songs and would sign off with purple hearts.
One particular song that she had shared was, 'Here I am Lord..'The song and her voice continue to ring in my ears..
Never ever thought we will lose her so soon..
Would always cherish her memories and would always miss her..

Praise God for Dear Viola aunty’s life. Viola aunty always gave me a warm welcome at her home whenever Ashok and I met and studied common Engineering subjects together.

Aunty was a great prayer warrior. I used to see her regularly attend the earth morning prayer time at Annanagar Methodist Church.

I loved Aunty’s posts in Facebook with encouraging Bible verses. She also responds promptly to my post and conveys her best wishes.

Aunty was so delighted to see me when I visited her home on March 7th this year and met with Ashok and Felicia. Aunty shared about Uncle, her last moments with him and testimony of how God protected, healed her when she was hospitalised.

I miss her loving and affectionate smile always. The joy of the Lord was her strength. Praying for God’s comfort to continue to rest upon her children, grandchildren and loved ones.

Viola ka my Dear Prayer partner

Give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you (Psalm 55:22).
I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips (Isaiah 57:19).
He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears.   (Isaiah 25:8).

When she texted a message on what’s up on 13th April at 10.20 hours as ‘Going to be admitted in Chettinad hospital. Please pray’. I and my husband Stephen Chakkravarthy never thought it was her last message to us.
Ever since we becoming the members of Annanagar Methodist Church , we used to admire and praise the Lord for the family of Emmanuel Jacob Annan , Viola ka and their children and grand children for their dedication to church ministry and love to serve the Lord.
Where ever Viola ka was, she always transformed the place lively with laughter and happiness. She was a much affectionate, disciplined and well dressed person and she had a passion of taking photos to log in her memory. She was a multi- talented person. We were blessed to have her as one of the best friend of us.

For the church project of Susanna Study centre to help the underprivileged students in the field of education, I and my husband got inducted into this area of mission on a specific request from Viola ka . Yes, it was not an easy sail to bring the children into focus and change their attitude with good behavior. It was a great admiration to see Viola ka visiting almost all the days to teach the most demanding subject, Mathematics. I recall her inborn passion towards Susanna Study Centre when she ventured into teaching just after the day of her cataract surgery.
She used to organise Christmas plays for the Susana study centre. I had the opportunity for shopping at Saravana Stores along with her to buy gifts for Susanna study centre children. She took lot of efforts to buy the right gifts to the students according to their age. From her desk, she penned down the script for
enactment of drama about the love of Jesus Christ which is to be shared with others. She took marvelous efforts to train the children to memorize the words for living a life of love, which they did exceptionally well.
Viola ka was a regular attendee of AMC Bible study and had great thirst for the word of God. When the book of Zachariah was taken, she presented a paper about one of eight visions of Zachariah. Also she attended regularly Extended Prayer time at AMC on Thursdays despite any situations. She had great love to sing for the Lord. For the Praise and Worship songs in the Church, as a family, they sang very melodiously to the glory of God while late Annan played mouth organ and Danny, on guitar.
She had great passion for gardening. It was our visit to her house on 1st April, the last time of our visit when she was alive. After heavy tea, she took us to the awesome terrace garden developed and maintained by her for a splendid feeling for all of us.

She is endowed with spirit of friendliness as she had many loyal friends. She always kept in good touch with them through the social media.

Viola ka was very responsible and sincere for the performance of her students attending her Math’s tuition classes. She used to express happiness when her students performed well. This used to be one of her prayer agenda.

She had devoted and sacrificed herself to the welfare of the family members. In her family, she is always remembered as Most Precious Mother, Most Precious Life Partner and Most Precious Grandmother.

Viola ka is blessed with affectionate children Felicia and Danny and three grand children. During their sickness, both children and her grandchildren Florina and Pearlina were so sincere in attending to the needs of the ailing parents to the best of their ability despite their busy work and study schedules. This was made possible by healthy reciprocation of love between parents, children and grandchildren.
Another amazing attribute of Akka being her love of pets. They have a pet dog by name ‘Mailo’. Always it used to be with her all the time.

When the fear and anxiety of Covid landed in 2019 March, she called me to be her prayer partner over phone in order to offer prayers on dally basis for our country and people who are victims to the deadly Covid. She was so regular and always looked anxiously for this prayer time.

Both of us never thought that the icy hands of death would take her away from our midst so quickly. We are missing a lot dear akka with tears in our heart. God had taken her to be with Him. Let her soul rest in peace. Let her good wishes , prayers and legacy of love will always flow through her family members and with each of us, through Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen

Beyond the body, breathe and mind,
Beyond the action, feel and thought,
Beyond the past, present and future,
Beyond the birth, life and death,

Beyond the everything that change,
Exists the soul that is changeless...

Amalgamates it with THEE
And...
Blesses the loved on praying THEE

Blessings always rendered by the changeless that EXISTS and EXISTS FOREVER

A smile that will be missed forever

She had a smile what was contagious and this will be missed. Her smile was so contagious that even when on a phone call you can actually feel the smile as all her smile came from her heart. No matter what the situation at home or in her heart when you met her she has a big genuine smile from the heart for you and this would melt away all your pain and trouble that you have been dealing with.

I will miss this smile forever on earth till I finish my race and meet her in front of our maker the Lord God Almighty and then again enjoy her smile.

Loved the little time i spent with you and miss you loads aunty. So wish you were still around.

In pain and joy at the same time

I hope she is in the good place now, and she is watching Felicia's family always and believe they would feel her presence around them. She lived a remarkable life and won the hearts of many by genuine caring and teaching her students.
She is coming to my mind whenever I see Sneha and MMM.

When i had finished all expectations with my relations, when i had moved into a corner of the world where none from my past will ever see me, when i was fighting death for four years, without money, in a small one room "house" deep in the hills, and out in no mans land, had come to accept that there is no more mother, no sister, no wife, no father, U CAME.
BROUGHT ME BACK TO CIVILIZATION. DID UR BEST TO RESTORE DEAD RELATIONSHIPS....

The night is fast gone, the Day Star is at Hand..... We will meet soon. I will share your greater joy and blessedness in Him who was, is now and IS TO COME SOON.
Lord of the Everlasting Kingdom I hear u clearly saying Behold I am coming Quickly.

Even so come Lord Jesus. Maranatha.
We will romp the earth together and reign in the New Creation firever and ever.
Hasta Mananana till we meet again, Dear Athai.
