Mum's life in brief

December 1, 2013

Violet Maud Page was born in London on 26th June 1931 to parents Lillian and John Page. She was the 3rd Daughter and sister to Lilly and Daisy. During the World War ll the sisters were sent to Bedford as part of the evacuation of children from London. They stayed with a family who I only know as Auntie Keep. When things settled they returned home but their Father John had passed away.

Life was very tough on the family in those days but as always and like every other family they stood by each other and supported each other and made it through some of their darkest days.

Violet (Mum) was married and had children of her own in order of birth was Janet, David(me) Robert, Ken, Debbie and Glen. Sadly Debbie passed away as a baby and Ken passed away in his mid years. My Mother remarried and my new Father was David John Jeary, he became the bread winner of the Jeary family for many years and supported us through some tough timesĀ  but sadly he passed away too at the young age of 53, he was a pillar of strength to us all and showed me love and guidance in my teen years which stood me in a good position to take forward into my adult life.

Violet had Grandchildren from my Sister Janet was Lauren and Ryan. From me was Paul Craig and Nichola, From Robert was Kristian, Karen and Nicholas and from Glen was Lucy. Sadly Ken didn't have any children before he passed away.

My mother was also a Great Grandmother to Emma (from Paul) Chloe (from Craig) and Cameron (from Nichola). Sadly she din't get to know Cameron but I am sure she is looking out for him and all her loved ones from the other side. Guided with a gentle touch along the correct pathway just as she did with us, her own children.

With various marriage break-ups in the family she gained step grandchildren Tony and Vicki and step Great Grandchildren Troy, and Jamie.

She had a poor first marriage but things improved greatly from 1968 onwards when she met and married David John Jeary. I and my Brother Robert changed our surnames to Jeary as we were proud to be the bearers of the Jeary name into the future ensuring through our own children that the name would survive.

The life and times of Violet Maud Page (Now Jeary) Deceased and leaves a family who miss her and love her and her one and only surviving sister Lilly

God bless you Mum and all the family there with you. Be with us all through our lives and please Guard Us, Guide Us and Protect Us in all we do, until we meet again

Love you all xxxxxxxxx
