Virginia Bowling Jones, 87, a resident of Granville County passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Universal Healthcare in Oxford.
A native of Durham County, she was the daughter of the late Tom Bowling and Betty Taylor Bowling. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Ideal Fastener.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 11, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Keith Williams.
Surviving is her daughter, Sylvia Jones Morris (Donnie) of Rougemont, two granddaughters, Eleisha Morris (Josh) of Providence, Kelly Morris of Rougemont and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home of Donnie and Sylvia Morris.
