Virginia Lancaster, 86, of Roxboro, died at Duke Regional Hospital on June 2, 2015.

She was a native of LaGrange, Georgia, and had lived at Cambridge Hills for the last nine years. After LaGrange High graduation she worked for Callaway Mills. Later on she trained at Emory University Hospital and then worked at LaGrange Hospital and a local medical office as a lab technician. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and a Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Lancaster (Emily), and nephews, Charles Jr. (Lisa) and children, Claire and Emilee, James Edward, John R. and friend Tracy, and children John S. and Jessie.

A graveside service will be held on June 6, 2015 at Creedmoor Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
