Proceeded in death by husband Amster Howard, long-time Boy Scout Executive in the Galveston area, as well as her brother Lester Parsons, Jr., and her parents Lester Sr. and Lessye Belle Parsons.

Survived by her four children – Amster, Phillip, Carole, Raymond; seven grandchildren-Dan, Donna, Scott, Bruce, Jill, Janet, Michael; twelve great-grandchildren-Olivia, Emma, Willa, Seth, Elsie, Josiah, Stephanie, Ryan, Randy, Abby, Ella, Anna; two great-great-grandchildren-Kendra, Keaton.
