This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Virginia Pat Martin ;  Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She passed away the morning of December 14th with her loving husband, Cliff Martin, by her side.

Pat was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in early November. Thanks be to our merciful God that she is now in the land of no more tears.

Pat was wife to Cliff Martin and mother to Todd Allen, Buddy Martin, and Bryan Martin.  She was affectionately called Mimi as the grandmother of Stephen T. Allen, Leslie Allen, Blake Martin, Bailey Martin, Christina Martin, and Lyndi Martin. She was great-grandmother to Maverick Allen, son of Stephen T. Allen and Brandy Thomas. There's no way to properly eulogize Pat with a simple paragraph as she impacted so many lives in so many  wonderful ways.  At Pat's request; if you feel a calling to commemorate her beyond words, please do so by supporting the Trinity Trails Association, East Fork Lodge Scholarship Fund, or any charity of your choice.

I first met Pat about 22 years ago at a riding stable. She asked me if I could come to her house and help her with her horse Brash who was not behaving as he should .
The first impression I had was that of a beautiful lady and I could tell exactly what she was about from the moment I met her and saw her smile. You could tell then that not only was she beautiful on the outside but more importantly on the inside too.
It was a couple of years after that my husband and I were looking for a house with acreage, little did we know that Pat and husband Cliff would become our perfect neighbors! Pat was always there if I needed her and was quick to volunteer Cliff to fix anything that was broken at my property.
I will remember Pat as a beautiful, strong, and independent person who added so much to every life she touched .

Beauty Tips

January 11, 2019

I was given my first jewelry box from Aunt Pat and Uncle Bufford for Christmas. The kind you wind-up, it had a ballerina and mirror. This is where I kept all my keepsakes. I think I was about 7 when I got it. I still have it today it even has all the keepsakes in it. Aunt Pat  gave me a few beauty tips while growing up, #1 When you brush your long hair, start at the bottom and working your way up to the  roots, this gets the tangles.

#2 When using mascara, never "pump" the brush in and out because this creates air and will cause bacteria in the tube and also will dry out the product at 12 years old this is important stuff!!

#3 Always, always wash your face before bed, and moisturize.

She knew her stuff because she took care of her skin. For my Senior prom she invited me to her shop to have my nails done, I was prepared to pay, but it was her gift to me from her, she didn't realize how bad of a nail biter I was and (still am), she tipped her nail tech extra lol!!

She liked a nice glass of wine and  a mean margarita, we always had nice conversations and she had a distinct laugh. She was a lady but was never afraid to get her hands dirty. I am going to miss her greatly, but I know she is with our Lord and we will all see her again. This is just a temporary separation,  we will have eternity with all the ones that have gone on before us. Love you Aunt Pat, and I will see you later~
