Virginia Pennell Tuck, 60,  a longtime resident of Granville County, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at Toney Rest Home in Oxford, NC.

A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of Ila P. Wynne and the late Rayford Lloyd Pennell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Sam Brewer. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother and her son, Stanley Tuck of Oxford, sisters, Ila Ruth Langley (Bill) and Rhonda P. Ross (Bobby) both of Oxford, brothers, Jack Pennell (Diane) and Wade Pennell (Janet) of Oxford and three grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son Darrell Wayne (Boo-Boo) Pennell, a sister Wilma P. Simpson and a brother Issac Ray Pennell.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:00PM, Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford.
