Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek

She endeavoured to do what was necessary to ensure that there was transparency and fairness in whatever was under her watch. I can remember how anxious I was as a Child to go for our regular Sunday afternoon visits while Grannie Vita was in Guyana. Like every Grandmother see always had goodies on arrival.
As we mourn her death we must remember that someone is waiting to greet her with open arms.
