PRAYER Today, father, as we remember the loss of our friend and sister Vivienne, we find comfort in the fact that you too grieve for her. Thank you for sharing Vivienne with us. We cry for those of us left behind, her children, her husband, her parents, siblings and colleagues, with hollows in our hearts. Father we ask you to comfort us, give peace, restore hope. In the depths of this loss meet us with yourself. We pray for the legacy that your daughter Vivienne leaves, for the ways the world has been made differently by her presence, for the memories that become both more beautiful & more painful on this side of death. We pray that the work she has accomplished in this remarkable life will grow deeper, wider and stronger in the days to come, uninhibited by death. Amen and Amen!!!
