Mortality
Voncile Peebles began her life journey on February 25, 1941 to the late Ben and Rosie Peebles.

Confession
She confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. GW Smiley. She served actively as a vessel in music ministry and youth choir director until her health began to decline.

Marriage
On July 6, 1958 she united with her life partner George Delbridge, Jr.

Employment
She retired from the Bullock County Board of Education after serving 24 years.

Immortality
On November 30, 2014, Voncile went to be reunited with her daughter Elaine Delbridge in the presence of the Lord.

Memories
Her precious memories are left in the hearts and minds of her loving and devoted husband George “Jr.” Delbridge, Union Springs, AL; two sons: George “Boley” Delbridge, Virginia Beach, VA, Bryant Delbridge, Union Springs, AL: four daughters: Delinda Lane, Jacqueline Delbridge, Wanda Delbridge and Laurie T. Delbridge all of Union Springs, AL. Three sisters Mary L. Rodgers, Minnie (Richard) Rogers, Midway, AL and Edna (Charles) Thomas, Akron, OH: two brothers John D. (Gloria) Thornton and Frank L. Thornton, Louisville, KY; fourteen grandchildren; six non-biological grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, one devoted sister-in-law Hazel Gosha, one brother-in-law, one special niece LaShon Foster and two devoted friends Teresa Baker and MeFretta Walker. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a countless number of friends.
