Mother Vonnie Lee White was born January 28, 1938 in Warm Springs, Georgia.  She attended the Meriwether County School System.  Mother White joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at an early age, and later joined St. Martin Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia where she served faithfully, later she reunited back to Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church until her health went down.

She is the daughter of the late Mr. Ernest White, Sr. and Ella Mae White.  She had siblings that preceded her in death, Mr. Ernest, Jr., Mrs. Mildred Woods, and Mrs. Mary White.

She leaves a wonderful and loving and caring sister, Mother Jo Ann Stinson (John); three sisters-in-law, Mother Janie Mae White, Mrs. Eleanor White, all of Manchester, GA, and Mrs. Doris White Gaskins of Douglas, GA;  She leaves a host of nieces and nephews and cousins and other relatives who will miss her dearly.
