I stumbled on this site with tributes to my beloved brother. I am his senior. Bro and can testify to wale's big heart and amazing ability to make friends. L remember our tough table tennis matches in our younger days. Despite my amazing skill he was better than me, even though l always used ojoro to win. I greatly appreciate everyone who contributed to this website to keep his memory Alive, especially people like dobsin and others greatly appreciated.

Never met or knew you... Read Dobson Omene's tribute on facebook & thought " he must be great guy" because Dobson or Uncle D as I call him rarely speaks about anyone that way in public platforms. May you continue to rest in God's bossom, and may God preserve the people, work & legacy you have left behind.

I was shocked when i heard of your passing. I saw you last in july, 2019 when you offered to take me back to lagos from ibadan. I wanted to get down on the way, so you could carry on but you insisted on getting me to my place. That was how caring you were. Whenever, we met in ibadan each time we go to celebrate with the Adegunles, you greeted with love and respect. You are greatly missed. I pray God will comfort your wife and all other family members you left behind. Sleep well in Jesus. Adieu

say Wali eje temi (as I hailed him) words simply cant express the pain in my heart that I will see you in flesh no more. My consolation is that since I left satellite for the UK nearly 30yrs ago we never lost contact and we always linked up whenever I was in the country.
I also take consolation from the fact that I saw you when you came to my late father's vigil on 23.10.19 but little did I know it was meant to be the last hug as I bade you goodbye when you were leaving. Your last words to me was 'Col Ogbo I hope the burial goes well in the East' never knew that was the last time I was going to be ever addressed as 'Col Ogbo'
I Will truly miss you Wali eje temi and may your gentle and kind soul RIP!!

There are times I would like to question God for so many untimelys, but I rest my position on the premise that our God stands unquestionable, afterall it is all divine privilege on man to inhabit this earth and one day we all shall return home at our appointed time. I have met you sir in Nigeria and in Ghana in truthfulness and in transparency and I cherish those virtues . You were a symbol of progressiveness added to your being compassionate . Thank God for life, thank God for everything you stood for . God bless your soul,God bless your family and everyone you left behind, till we meet and part no more.

Matthew 11:28
Wale, I regret to learn about your passing, and to realize that we would never meet here on earth again. It’s been over 40 years when we were all children growing up in Fadeyi but my memory remains ever bright ... my remembrance of you, our little brother that was always trying to be part of the mix, and always just few steps around me and Femi ad we played. You left your mark on earth and its a good one.
May God comfort the entire family that you left behind. May God welcome you into his kingdom, and keep you in his grace until we meet again. Adieu my brother. RIP !

Bro Wale Agun, I'm still in shock and short of words but all I can say is that I wasn't really close to you in person in the ushering department but it was visible and glaring to me and all that you were soft spoken and an easy going person.

Big Daddy ❤️
On the 11th of May, we got the worst news this year by far. Till today it remains very hard to believe.
You were always so happy, always putting a smile on others' faces even just with your smile
You prophesied great future careers for us according to how we are. Now we'll never fly you over with our private jets. Nevertheless, I have no doubt in my mind that where you are now is much better than a private jet. On the bright side, you will see us succeed without a doubt, from Heaven. Thank you for everything Big Daddy.
You remain forever in our hearts.

Wale, you departed this sinful world at a time that we thought your fighter spirit is most needed. You were a good husband, son, brother and friend. You were honest, dutiful and hard working in a country where these qualities are in short supply. Although you died at a young age, your memory will forever remain with us. As you find rest in the bosom of the Lord, may the Almighty God comfort your parents, your family,  Siblings and loved ones. Rest in peace

You called me your daughter and I call you my Daddy! How I remember so clearly those days as a little girl, when I will say "carry me" and you will always do and throw me up and spin me around.. I knew no one could try me in Satellite then because I had big Egbons like you who will be right there when I called. I still remember when you saw my kids recently and how we teased about you carrying me as a little girl. You had such a caring and large heart. It is still so difficult to take in, but I guess it was time, time for you to go rest in God's bosom. We love you dearly but God loves you more. You will surely be missed, rest on my dear Egbon, till we meet in heaven.. Lucia Jaiyeola (nee Omene).

Hmmmm still very unbelievable... can't fathom the fact that you are no more... same you visited my Dad in the hospital late last year, very shocking and sad but I thank God, that you are now in a better place! You were like a brother to me infact you were my brother and never hesitated to act as such while we were growing up as Children in Close 16, Satellite Town. You always called me Leto-teetee and will hail me by saying *I am too much and you trust that no one can try me* this always brought a smile to my face & I will giggle excitingly and funny enough this statement which seemed like a joke later had a strong impact on the woman I became! Oh how devastating... despite adult life throwing us in different directions, it is definite that my childhood can not be complete without you. Haaaa My Dear Brother, Wale Agun, always full of life... never a dull moment, I will always cherish the memories we shared and how you always protected me like a big brother should... We can never question God but I pray that He alone will comfort and console your entire family esp. your Parents cos if we feel this way then how much more... You left too soon and you will surely be missed... Till we meet again... May Your Gentle Loving Soul Rest in Perfect Peace Amen!!

Always ready to listen, give advise and honestly tell you when you are missing it! I always looked forward to your visits! I so badly want to ask why we always loose the sweetest souls first but who are we to question the Lord?!
It’s still shocking and so hard to believe you’ll no longer be with us.
I’m happy to have known you uncle Wale! Rest peacefully in the bosom of our Lord

Always there to help
I know I owe you cake and yoyo fish
But am sure the delicacy you are eating now doesn't compare

You have run your race
Thank God you are now with Jesus
Give him a big hug for us

Brother Wale Agun, a soft spoken gentleman. He and his beautiful sweet wife served diligently in our Fathers House - The Fountain of Life Church. Your wife is one of the kindest women I know. She loves unconditionally.

You were a polite, cheerful and jovial man. You loved God and people. Your exit is painful. My husband cannot comprehend the fact that you are no longer here with us but we find consolation in fact that we will all depart too someday and reconciled with our Father in heaven.

Rest on Brother Wale ~ Thank you for serving and contributing to the growth of the kingdom of God. The seeds you have sown are a legacy for all you left behind.

Wale po po po...that's what I used to call you and Bunmi would laugh. You were such a gentle and easy going soul. Underneath that gentle mien though, was a mischievous, teasing and comical personality.
Very humble and personable...there was no errand too big for you to run for Bunmi on my account...thank you for all those times. You were very supportive of Bunmi's business, her myriad of friends and acquired sisters.
We will all miss you but we will not sorrow like those who have no hope. Sleep on gentle giant...see you on the resurrection morning.

Wale was a dear friend to me, my brother and sisters. We grew up together in Satellite Town as wily teenagers to adults going through life’s challenges daily. Wale was ever present at the tennis court, football field daily and especially during school holiday times when we all saw a lot of each other and got into all types of mischief. An immense personality, sense of humour with a warm and affectionate heart, Wale touched everyone who came into contact with him. Wale’s uncanny ability to provide nicknames for everyone was legendary. We were privileged to meet up in Accra Ghana as recently as last year 2019 when we relived some of these memories and reminisced with hilarity. Wale’s sudden death came as a complete shock to us all and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family in their time of grief.
We will miss you our dear friend.
May your soul rest in eternal peace with our Lord. Farewell till we meet again.

I heard the news of your demise, but was too shocked to say anything.
You offered to pick me up to attend the last set reunion at Eko Hotel, you fulfilled you promise and even offered to take me home.
We talked at length on our way to and from the reunion venue. We promised ourselves that we would always find time to hook up and talk.
Tried getting across to you on several occasions but to no avail but to be met with the rude shock of your loss.
Hmmm, this life sha!
Wale son of A-gun as i always called you, are you really gone??
I want to be consoled by the fact that you're sleeping sweet at the bosom of the Lord.
May God grant us all the fortitude to bear another loss amongst us.

It's so heartbreaking to hear that you are no longer with us . But we know and believe you have gone to rest in the bosom of our Lord.
You were my hubby s closest pal and a second father to my children. With your presence around then I knew my hubby can never go astray...
Who are we to question God? He giveth and He taketh .
We are consoled by the fact that you are resting in the bosom of our Lord.
Rest in peace Mr Babatunde Olawale Agun!We love you but God love you more

You found Christ before your final flight.

Big bros! Big Waley! I can't question God. My consolation is that you found Christ. I'm elated each time I see your biblical posts on Facebook.
You're loving, rugged, impossibly optimist and accommodating.
You'll be sorely missed.
Goodnight Big Bros.
