On Saturday, April 25, 2020, Walter Bohn, Sr., loving father of Walter Bohn, Jr. and “Pop Pop” passed away at the age of 81 after a battle with Covid-19.

Walter, Sr. born in Brooklyn New York on March 29, 1939 and spent most of his life in North Plainfield, New Jersey, before moving to Chester County, Pennsylvania in 1995 to be with his son.  He enjoyed spending time in Manasquan, New Jersey, where he enjoyed fishing and boating. During his younger years, he volunteered for the North Plainfield Rescue Squad.

He was married to the late Patricia Fox, and had one son, Walter Bohn, Jr.  Walter Sr. had adored Patricia up to the day of his death.  He adored her so much that he passed on the same day as the 5th year anniversary of her memorial service.  

Walter, Sr., is survived by his son, Walter Bohn, Jr. and his fiancé Angela Hamilton of Downingtown, PA, Grandsons Charles “Chaz” Bohn, and Declan Bohn.  His Brother William Bohn (Ronnie Bohn), Fred Bohn (Deceased), Irene Marti, and Margaret McMichael (Bohn Deceased).

Due to the Covid-19 Virus, the services will be held once restrictions are lifted, and he will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, New Jersey.  In lieu flowers, donation can be made in his honor to Chester County F

Your father will be greatly missed!! I will miss his phone calls looking for Bill, having to mail his letters, and his love for Seasons Pizza! You were a great son and you made your father proud!
