This is the 5th year of your passing. Pat came today to sight in his guns. I told him today was 5 years since you passed. He said really how about that. I picked this particular day to come. I told him I thought maybe he had planned it. He said no, he had not remembered. I know God worked it out this way. Thank you Lord!

You have been gone 4 years today. It still hurts to know I can't hug you or talk to you, but I am beginning to understand how beautiful heaven is and just how happy you are to be there. I love you so much and will meet with you when God calls my name.

Mom and dad had a fifth wheel camper and went on many trips together and with family. I was blessed to be able to camp with them at times. One trip to Michigan we stopped and camped for one night until we got there. Dad would always go to the camps bathhouse in the morning so mom and I could get ready in the camper. On this particular morning he went to the bathhouse as we were getting up. They both would lay their glasses on the table at night when they went to bed. Mom went to get her glasses and only dad's were there. We both started laughing because we knew dad had accidentally put on mom's glasses. When he came back to the camper he told us something was wrong with his glasses because he couldn't see very good to shave. We died laughing and mom said "dad you have my glasses on". He said "I knew something was wrong"!!!
