My Dad was special and he loved all. His favorite color was blue like his eyes...He drove truck and his nick name was snowman cause of the company he drove for was delivering frozen food.I rode with him and those on the CB would ask how are the  roads snow man..Where ever he was or went he carried his fishing pole, tackle and a frying pan.He was drafted into the military even though my mother had already passed. His death made me and 3 other siblings orphans...What I loved about my dad was his voice. He won singing competitions all the time. Rode in rodeo's loved to roller-skate and at 18 he met my mom at a rink. His first nick name was pumpkin...Grandma wrote "pumpkin smiled at me today". He gave the best piggy back rides next of course to my mom. My favorite time was sneaking out at 4 am to go to bowling alley thanks to the owner letting him have a key.His average score was 230...He loved to tell jokes and when something was funny he would roll on the floor slapping the ground laughing. Besides fish he loved popcorn, hickory nuts Turkey noodles and potatoes...My dad died in Vietnam in Pleiku in an ambush protecting the convoy of trucks that were carrying supply's to our troops...He was missing in action for 2 weeks before his brother recognized an arm and scars he said that he placed on my dads arm...There was nothing but that left and his dog tags. His name is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall...I love you Dad...
