This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Walter Hicks, 68, born on September 11, 1938 and passed away on June 30, 2007. We will remember him forever.My pappaw was the best man that you could ever meet. he was a penecostal preacher that love the lord and  his kids very much and his grand kids two. me and my sisters  loved him more then anything in this world. I know it was hard on the rest of the grandkids but not has hard as it was for me. i am the oldest grandkid so i was with him more then any of them. i went to the hospital for 25 days everyday to see my pappaw. i would  stay with him as long as i could. i was there the day that my pappaw took his last breath.
