Dear Lorraine and family,
This is a beautiful tribute. Thank you creating it. I never met Walter but this memorial tribute gave me a sense of him as a husband, father, grandfather, friend. It also showed me what a tremendous loss his passing to to your whole family and, indeed, to all the people in his life. At the same time the photos and videos are lasting mementos of the many happy memories you made together. Walter will live forever in your hearts.
With deepest sympathy,

We have many fond memories ....of the early years after you moved in across the street ....the crazy antics and games Tyler, Brian and the neighbourhood boys created when they were young...soccer games and tournaments....neighbour get togethers and the years of catching up when we were all out in the yard. Years blend together and suddenly we all had grandchildren....and grown children. Good neighbours are rare and we will so miss seeing Wally out walking with Pappe, his quick nod and smile, or stopping for a quick chat. The video you created shares a life well loved .... rest now Wally, but you will be very missed.

We remember, with fond memories, Walter and the Kapko family from years back when they were living on Peterboro Bay. We visited as neighbours do, we camped together, CNR stories were shared and had many laughs throughout those years. We were so saddened to hear of Walter’s passing. Our hearts and hugs go out to Lorraine, her children and grandchildren.

We remember when our son was in hospital in Edmonton and both Walter and Lorraine welcomed us with open arms and let us stay with them. They are such wonderful people. We were heart broken by the news of Walter passing. I remember putting a puzzle together with them one night and it needed one more piece to finish it. They were all looking for the piece under the table and I had it in my hand all along. When they got up I was after putting the piece in. We all had a good laugh. We love you all so much,
