Years ago, I was in a bad place. Single and depressed, fighting an addiction, and very lonely.

Walter opened his doors to me, a man he barely knew. Every weekend he called or Txted me asking me to come over. Sometimes there was a huge party, and sometimes it was just me and him. Always he was ready to laugh and play games and do anything to make me feel not so alone.

He never judged me, or asked me to explain anything. He just kept me company.
