Walter Russell Plummer of Golden Nursing Home in Salem, NJ passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020, which was his father's birthday.
He was the son of Walter Shimp Plummer and Sara Jane Counsellor Plummer. Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Cynthia Shimp Plummer of Westville, NJ, step-son William F. McPherson of Bridgeton, NJ, brother Arthur Plummer (Cheryl) of Lower Alloway Creek, NJ, sister Carol Storms of Quinton, NJ and Sharon Plummer of Pennsville, NJ.
Walt loved his John Deere Tractors and cars. He was employed at Mannington Mills for 38 1/2 years. He loved helping people. He was a member of Friesburg Emanuel Lutheran Church, Elmer, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made by Fertig Funeral Home, Mullica Hill, NJ.
