Wanda Mae Barnes was born on March 19,1954 in Owassa,Al to Early Calvin Esdon and Othema Edson, she lived most of her life in Alabama and going to school in Owassa and Andalusia,Al. Mrs Wanda loved horses and grew up with them and loved being outside, she worked in several different places and she never met a stranger. She met the love of life while in Andalusia,Al Harley Barnes Jr and they were United in marriage on Nov 23,1983 and moved to Lango Al before moving to Theodore,Al to raise their kids. Mrs Wanda worked in the schools while her kids where going, and then 1986 her and her husband moved to Vancleave,MS and she would go on to work at the Ocean Springs Hospital and then to work at the IP Casino til she retired. Mrs Wanda had 4 beautiful children that will carry on her legacy and she will always be remember and never forgotten.

Mrs. Wanda Barnes is preceded in death by her loving parents Early Calvin Edson and Othema Edson and brother Milton Edson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 37 years Mr Harley Barnes Jr of Vancleave,Ms, one daughter Penney Wanda Richard of Vancleave,Ms, and 3 sons Lee Wayne Brown and Melvin Lee Brown both of Silverhill,Al and Timothy Keith of Lucedale,Ms. She has 14 granchildern and 4 great grand children that will miss her.She has 2 sisters Racheal Edson Wyman of Stapleton, Al and Mary Helen Benbow of Andalusia,Al and multiple nieces and nephews and cousins to all cherish her memories.
