My sister is missed everyday.. she was gentle, fun loving and very smart and well educated. She was also strong and dealt with a lot of difficult things in her life. She is missed today and remembered with love on this 2nd anniversary of her passing. RIP Wanda.

Upbeat, fun loving, always smiling and thinking of others, that was my big sister, Wanda. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her and miss her. So I wanted to do something that I could share with others that are also feeling the loss just like my brother Ed and I are.

Remembering today...

September 21, 2015

Today, 9-21-2015 marks 3 years since we lost Wanda.  It doesn't seem possible. I always remember fun times now.. barbecues with family years and years ago, Christmases at her house when our folks were still here too.  She was fun, smart and very strong.. and I surely do miss her.

Always there

Many instances in my life she bailed me out.  Co signed for my 2nd new car, helped me during a bankruptcy of mine years and years ago... even bought me new tires for my very first new car when I was just a kid.  Always appreciated the things she did for me and later in life, for my son!

what a cook!

I remember one time I had gone to Wanda's house for dinner.  She was cooking spaghetti...  We stood together near the stove as the stirred and we were talking about this and that.  When all of a sudden she took a spaghetti noodle and threw it at the cabinet door in the kitchen. Well I was not familiar with this " test" of doneness and apparently had quite a shocked look on my face since she began to totally crack up at the look on my face.  The spaghetti was good by the way :)
