During the period of 1997 - 2000 I had the very great privilege and absolute pleasure to work with Wayne. He and Leanne would have been based in Asia at the time, but our teams worked together and so he was in the UK with me a few times every year. Professionally and personally, he was the nicest and best of men.

I am delighted that the helicopter ride and the gala dinner photos include Leanne and Wayne. The other two – as with all the other great photos on the site – show that quite brilliant smile and his sporting/competitive - yet caring - nature.  

Wayne will be so sorely missed by us all, but I consider myself to be a ‘winner’ having known and worked with simply the most ‘excellent’ man…… the ‘best of the best’.
