Wayne and I met in Zaperts bar and grill. He was a bouncer I was a patron. We started dating within a few months.

We got engaged New Year's Eve 1982 at Zaperts. My family all loved him so much. Especially my mom. We got married May 21st 1983 . It was a beautiful wedding. Our first home was in Beachwood NJ . Then June 19 1984 we had a beautiful baby girl we Named Janelle. Then in Nov 22 1985 we had our 2nd baby girl Jacqueline. But of course I was longing for a little boy. So October 27 1988 my dream came true we had a beautiful son Patrick. We had 3 children and that was enough . We struggled many years but I would not change a thing . Our world was crazy at times . We may not have had it all but we made it work cause we had love. Wayne belonged to East Dover Firehouse where he had many friends seems everyone who met or knew Wayne loved him . He was a lot of fun and always made everyone laugh.Through the yrs are children grew up . Our daughter made us grandparents on January 6 2004 to a beautiful baby boy Giovanni. Giovanni was our world and he loved his Pop Pop very much. Then on December 4 2012. Our world was complete my daughter had a beautiful baby girl Peyton. Now we are gonna go to 2008 where Wayne got sick . Doctors gave him a year but no way that was gonna happen. We fought and fought hard he was a miracle as his heart Dr would say. Wayne and I spent everyday every minute together . Then Nov 28th 2017 my world and my kid's and grandchildren world was shattered my best friend my guy my husband of 34 and a half years closed his eyes and that heart of gold stopped beating. I had to say goodbye to my hero . The man who always made me feel good about myself. My life my love my everything. I stood there thinking how will I go on with out him. And 16 months without him I am still shattered lost lonely with out my guy.  I invite anyone who knew Wayne to share your Stories you have of him.
