Let the memory of Wayne be with us forever.
  • 75 years old
  • Born on March 9, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
  • Passed away on April 4, 2019 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, United States.

It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Miller announces his passing after a battle with a heart disease. Wayne went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at the age of 75.

Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Ruth and his children, Patrick (Anna Kate), Jim (Shannon), and Steve (Andrea). Wayne will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren, Gabrielle, Chase, Emilea, Cole, Bryson, and Cora, by his sister Judy (Dennis) Bolsega and by brother-in-law William (Marie) Taylor. Wayne was predeceased by his brother, Jerry Dale Miller.

The visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at noon on Friday, April 12, 2019, at Mission Church, 82 Stratford Dr., Bloomingdale, IL.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Wayne to the American Heart Association: http://www2.heart.org/site/TR/FunRaiser/General?px=13739035&pg=personal&fr_id=3930

Ruthie and family, continued prayers on the passing of Wayne.
He loved each of you so dearly.
I will cherish the memories that I have with Wayne. It made me so happy when I saw him at Mission and would have a conversation with him. He ALWAYS talked about his family and the blessings that you were.
My favorite experience that I shared with Wayne was serving side by side with him at the Holiday Gift mart. His enthusiasm for the HGM was contagious. It made him happy to see parents being able to afford presents for their children. He always made it a priority to be at the HGM.
I will tell you that this years Holiday Gift Mart won’t be the same for me. But I will serve with the same enthusiasm Wayne has.
I will miss Wayne’s such gentle personality, his warm smile, his pure heart and the love he had for you Ruthie. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of his life!
Sending my love and prayers to each of you!
Much love❤️
