Wendel is one of the best men I have ever known. It was an honor, joy and privilege to work with and for him. I have many fond memories of the times we shared together. He was someone that inspired me and helped me the best I could be. His character was strong and intact. It was enjoyable to work with him. I admired and respected him greatly. Every time I see certain things, like anything about the Packers, I think of him. He was a success by any measure. He was everything I aspire to be: a good man, good Christian, Good father, good husband and a true friend. I really miss him. Heaven gained a true angel.
