This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Wendell (Bill) Rho Dess Jr, 72, born on June 23, 1943 who passed away on March 26, 2016. The funeral service was held at the Church of Our Fathers, and the burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress California. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and buried with military honors. Bill, as he was lovingly called by his family and friends, is survied by his wife Cora, son Andre, daughter Shaanna, and 3 grandchildren Alexis, Peter Jr, and Bentley. His son Todd is deceased. He is also survived by his brother David Rhodes Sr along with  several nieces and nephews. He  loved to laugh and  made others laugh with his crazy sense of humor. He was loved and he will be missed by all who knew him. We will remember him forever.

"It is rather for us, the living, we here be dedicated to the great task remaining for us... that, from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here, gave the last full measure of devotion... that we here highly resolve these dead shall not have died in vain; that the nation, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people by the people for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
President Abraham Lincoln
