I miss her.

Hello Beth, we are so very sorry to learn of your mother's death and to also learn that your dad had a tragic death. Wendy is the one who taught my friends and I bridge which we still enjoy greatly. I remember outings your mom, my daughters, you and I took as well as sharing our babysitter, Jane. And, of course, working with your mom at IBM. She was a gentle soul and was so very patient when teaching us bridge. Would love to hear from you. Paula, Emily, Mindy and Jim Christensen

Dear Elizabeth and family,
I was so sorry to learn of Wendy's death. We shared a love of bridge, and I met her playing bridge at the Woman's Club; an interest in birds, and she came at my suggestion to the Los Gatos bird store to get her supplies regularly. She came to know he owner of that store and we traveled to Panama with a birding trip led by the owner. Wendy had a gently demeaner and never made any of the less well-accomplished players feel bad. I will miss her.

Dear Elizabeth & family, we are all so saddened from the news of Wendy’s passing. I remember her as always such a bright light at our family events many years ago. We are thinking of you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
