So many stories.

I'll never forget when I was little and daddy and I would ride across the road to see "Mr Dwain". Ole George would be at the shop and somehow Smokey the bear always got brought up. George would warn me to stay away from the box cause there was a bear in there. Mr Dwain would go over to the box and start to open it and George would have a fit! Mr Dwain would then act like the bear got his hand and was trying to pull him in the box!! My daddy would be laughing and poor ole George would take off! As soon as he was out of sight Mr Dwain, grinning from ear to ear, would open the box and show me it was all ok. 

On an adventure with my dad and Mr Dwain we were going to see where Mrs Wendy lived. I really don't know why but away we went. On the way there we stopped at a cotton field. Daddy took a picture of me and Mr Dwain standing in the cotton as he was telling me all about it. I still have that picture up today along with a pod of cotton. 

I could go on and on from being at the fire department, Starr Baptist, sitting at the shop, at the house, or Starr Mart. 

Mr Dwain always brought a smile to my face and happiness to my heart! He is truly missed!
