You were the last one of my beloved boys!

My beloved Fluffy Joe,

Together we made our decision for you to be with God. I know you were so happy and thankful last October to have you relieved of your suffering so you could be happy in the arms of Jesus with Daddy "Shep" Cody, Ladybug, and Andy. 

You no longer greet me and Star at the fence, you are not there to make us smile, but when I think of the good times we had together and how loving and loyal you were, my sadness goes away. Our time together was perfect and full of magic and trust. You were so loving, strong and brave. I will miss you friend.

When I think of all the things I am thankful for,  my beautiful, sweet dogs have always been close to the top of my list.

My life would be incomplete without you. Every day is better because I always have your smiling faces and wiggly tails to come home to.

It took me so long to share because I was afraid I would've drowned in my tears trying to write about his passing.

I know you thank me for the decision I made last June to have you relieved of your suffering so you could be happy with God, Shep, Ladybug, and Cody.

I miss your beautiful smiling face. You were such a kind, smart beautiful friend and protector. You left a paw print of love on my heart I will remember you always.

Cody, Ladybug and all the other animals run and play together, but one day Cody suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His eyes are shining brightly. His eager body shakes. Suddenly he begins to run from the other animals, jumping over the green grass, his legs carrying him fast as they can.

Shep, you have been found, and when you and Cody finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be separated again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of Cody.Then you play in the meadow together with Ladybug...    

Ladybug and all the animals run and play together, but one day she suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent. Her eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster.

Shep, you have been spotted, and when you and Ladybug finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of Ladybug.

Then you play in the meadow together...

Ladybug,
 
Together we made our decision for you to be with God. Our time together was perfect and full of magic and trust. I remember the lessons you left me of how to love and behave. The one I remember most of all-be nice always, even when you are not treated well by others. You were so strong and so brave. I will miss you friend.

As I think of all the things we did the tears will fall. You were a carefree companion and a beautiful friend. There will be a forever place in my heart for you. I will remember you always so RUN in the wind and remember me forever!

I'm sitting here in my room, looking at your picture. With tears streaming down my face, wondering why you left so soon. I never knew how hard it would be to lose you, until God took you away. Even though I can't see you I know you are up there watching over the dogs and me. I miss you more and more each day and all I can do is pray that God's grace and mercy keep me strong. In my heart you shall forever remain.

Months have passed on, seasons changed. Your smile is slowly fading. I hold you in my heart always, although you are not physically there.Your sparkling eyes deeply etched in my soul, your bright smile in the depth of my heart.

I make to you this promise, to live each day as my last, without you here, with a piece of you to lead me though.

I have faced a lot. I feel so lost. I feel alone. Your smile once made my sadness leave, yet now it lingers in the shadows deep within. Your words used to frighten away my fears yet without you here I am always brought to tears.

I promise to be strong until the very end even when times are hard. I know I can't hold your hand like I once have or to walk these paths standing beside you there. I know I can't feel your arms wrap around me tight or feel that comforting embrace that once made me warm inside. But I do feel you in my heart and I will never forget you, I promised I will never let you go...
