A long blessed Life!

Shared by Debra Moore Avant on March 10, 2019

My mom wilda nell cowart Moore lived 91 years. She had to quit school at an early age to help her parents in the fields and pick cotton. She worked at sewing plants and grew up in Lamar county. When her and my dad got married they moved to sylacauga, Alabama. They had my oldest brother (Billy) & then (Jerry) & then me, ( Debbie). They raised three kids while my dad drove a truck and my mom worked at Avondale Mills for 30 some odd years. They had seven grandchildren, Amy Moore Jones ( Mike), Jonathan Moore (Tammy), Jerry Paul Moore, Jennifer Moore Barnett,  Micah Shelnutt, Misty Shenutt Conn (Tim), Mark Martin (Alesia). They had seven great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Her and my dad were married for 68 years when he passed away in 2015. They had a long blessed life together and now there both in heaven together. They will be so greatly missed and loved. Your memories will always be in our hearts!
