When I met Mikes parents they insisted I call them Mom and Dad, looking back, I'm not surprised..  Wow, 10 years ago. In that time, my own father having passed, "Dad" was a kind and good man and treated me as one of his own. His family was his greatest treasure. He was such a good and loving soul that he fast became my sons only "Grandfather" and Kyle is devastated by our loss...but Dad isn't really gone, he is just away and take comfort in that he sees and knows all of our hearts, and and surely looks down on us with a smile to be celebrated.

As I woke up this autumn day
I will miss a great man from Chesapeake Bay
He gave to all of us sunshine... a beautiful ray
All great things come to an end they say
As a tear rolls down my cheek
Blessed are the meek
For it is God we all seek

Love you dad Hipkiss

My heart is heavy with the passing of Dad ! He was so very special, a second father to me since our all moving to Bucks County at the same time, many years ago. I will cherish forever my memories with Dad. I pray for peace for you all knowing he is in God's hands, pain free, and waiting to see us all again. Rest in Peace Dad, God's Speed !!

Sorry, Hipkiss family and especially Joan...did not know this site existed.
just saw a pic of an English garden and tried to send to Joan.
Bill was  a great friend, work mate, confidant and fun guy both at Sampson AFB and esp. Keeler . He, Harry me and others were usually together. I even sold Bill my Pontiac convertible (hope it worked out). My best regards to all and especially his children on fathers Day. We all miss a really great guy and know you had a wonderful parent. Stay safe , stay well.
