My mom died suddenly and unexpectedly 12 years ago.  Since then, I have passed many major milestones in my life.  I graduated from college, got married, landed my first professional job, moved up in my career, completed a master's degree, lived in Japan for three years, relocated back to the states, and became a first-time mother.  My daughter's middle name is Wilhelmina, in mom's honor.  I miss her TREMENDOUSLY, but I know she now sees me as God sees me and is all-knowing of the events of my life.  I have peace in my heart knowing that because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross for ALL of us, and because I believe that he is the son of the LIVING God, death has no hold over us!!  For I WILL see my mom again in another life......PRAISE BE TO GOD!
