I reach for you with open arms,then realise your not there,the place that you used to sit is now an empty chair,my heart is split in two dad i miss you every day,i never thought id'e lose you i wanted you to stay,but dad you were in so much pain god had to take you home,but i know that we will meet again and you are not alone,so for that day to come i will wait patiently,then in your arms i will run as you stand and wait for me.
