Remembering the Life of  Brent Chapman




On December 20 ,2020 William "Brent" Chapman - A.K.A. - (Brent Chapman) passed away unexpectedly in his Pinellas Park home.

Brent was born the son of William Chapman and Janice Lee "Bias" Chapman on May 4, 1949 in Huntington, West Virginia

He graduated from Huntington High School in 1967 and joined the Marines, and served in The Vietnam War. Upon returning home Brent met and married the love of his life Miss. Jean Marie Pugh. They settled in Pinellas Park, Florida and started a new family.

Early on in, Brent, enjoyed coaching  his son football team. He loved to hunt and fish, as well as taking family vacations to the beach. To friends and family Brent was known as the "Grill Master". Brent will be remembered most for his uncanny wisdom and unique sense of humor. 

Brent worked for Verizon and was a member of the I.B.E.W., Post 824 and served as Chief Union Steward, he retired after 45 years of service, to start the golden years of his life. Sadly on October 27th 2019, unexpectedly, he lost his beautiful wife and best friend "Jeannie", he now joins her in heaven watching down on all of us.

Brent is predeceased by his Father James Chapman, Mother Janice "Bias" Chapman, Wife Jean Chapman and Sister Cathy Cook. 

He is survived by his Daughter Melissa "Chapman" Bryant and her Husband Gary, Son's Jason Brent Chapman and James William Chapman. Eight Grandchildren Jessica, Jamilyn, Joey, Jaret, Ashley, Ally, Nick and Tyler. Four Great-Grandchildren: Cadyn, Aubre , Jimmy and Landan. His Sister Brenda Chapman, Brother Kent Chapman, two Nieces and a Nephew.

A service will be held at The People's Spiritualist Church on Saturday February 27th, 2020 @ 6pm.  Dress is casual and masks are a must.

There will be a burial held at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Date and Time T.B.A.
