Deacon Thomas had a gentle loving spirit. As a deacon, he often served his duty in the balcony, and although he was not an usher, Deacon Thomas often assisted the ushers when needed. He also was willing to lend a hand to the ushers at funerals, and was a mentor to youth Church School and as a circle leader.
