William "Bill" A. Danforth, 81, of Charlotte Harbor, Florida passed away May 31, 2017 with his loving family by his side.  Bill  formerly lived in Shalersville, Ohio.  He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late; William C. Danforth and Iris Minor Danforth.  He was married to Amelia "Amy" for 60 years.  Bill retired from US  Steel Company.  Bill was a grateful member of AA for 36 years.  He will be missed by family and many friends.

  Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Amelia Danforth, children: Debra Birch (Bob), Barbara Danforth Murphy (Dennis), William R. Danforth, and Susan Bordonaro, grandchildren; Rob Birch, Nicholas Danforth, Tyler Bordonaro, great grandchildren; Lyzia, Noah, Elijah and  Abie,  and his sister, Sandy.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marge Krause.   A Remembrance Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Easy Does it Club.in Port Charlotte.  Contributions may be made to the Charlotte County Animal Welfare League, in Bill's Honor.  Bill can be remembered at icscremationandfunerals.org
