His Life

My Father

February 4, 2019

William Spellman,  AKA, Wild Bill, Spelly, Big Pappa, began his life changing journey to become  a better man on 1/15/88. It took many years and hard work to become who he was later in life. Thank God he established a relationship with GOD, because without him, nothing is possible! As we say in Greek, "Kalo taxidi sto paradiso!" Roughly translated, "Good trip to Paradise!" Love and miss you Dad.

Bill was my friend all the way from Deerfield in Virginia to Hampton roads. It was always fun to hang out with him after he was released from deerfield. I will miss his funny attitude and outlook on life..

Burned his kitchen

February 4, 2019

I remember one time I was real sick and dad decided to make me fried doughnuts. I loved them so much, I tried to make them myself when I was feeling better. I put the oil on the stove then went to the bathroom. Next thing I know, I saw smoke coming from under the bathroom door and I freaked out. I ran into the kitchen and saw this huge grease . I tried to put it out with whatever I could grab, with no success! I called 911 then my dad at work. I thought he was going to kill me when he got there. Much to my surprise I, he was strangely calm. Then I realized he was not the same man I knew as a child! Needless to say it was about $4,000 damage!

Memories

February 5, 2019

i remember when i first met Spelly. It was in Harpers Ferry, WV.  Doug and i were on our way to Tennesse. Jeramiah choppped down the neighbors colorado blue spruce they had growing in the yard. We followed the path of the tree to the neighbors. It was a beautiful tree. Just found out from Annie she was the look out for him. Once we all got over the shock of the hot tree. The laughter was on. Spelly wss making jokes and we all were hysterical over it. It was one of the best trees ever. Loved Spellys sense of humor. He worked very hard to become the man he was. God Speed in your journey Spelly. Hugs and Feel the love.
